Surprise for Janeice!

Okay, you should have seen the party that this cake was for... The decorations were RIDICULOUS! In a good way. Lettie way outdid herself for her sister's birthday and this was the cake for it. I think this is very close to the top of my favorite cakes list. It was for adults only so that's why I put the non-edible "bling" on it. We can't have any kids ingesting plastic rhinestones.

8th Grade Graduation

I love the metalics these days! The silver is so very cool, and what goes better with silver than black right? I'm also getting better at making bows.

My Baby Brother's Wedding

Sven & Christine tie the knot... 450 miles away! This was an adventure for sure. I had to bake the cakes here, pack them back up in their pans and take them to Colorado. Then I had to make all the flowers (with the help of my sister, mom, & darling neices) up there, prep & cover the cakes in the Senior Center kitchen, then transport the parts to the events center and put it all together there... all while trying to coordinate the catering too. Crazy! But the wedding turned out amazing and I was just glad I could be such a big part of it. Love you Sven!

Another Baby Shower

I think this color combination has to be one of my favorites ever. I mean can it get any cuter for a baby girl baby shower? I had to make the bow and flowers the night before so they could dry. FUN FUN FUN!

33 Year Old Firefighter B-Day

Happy Birthday to you firefighter! This was one of the most fun cakes to make too. I thought it really looked like a fire hat. The medal was made out of gum paste and made to look metalic gold. Oh, it was chococolate cake with strawberry cream cheese filling. YUM!

8 Years Old

You gotta love the Cowboys right! This cake was super fun to make! I especially loved the silver layer. I finally learned how to make fondant look metalic. It's so cool!

Burning money!

Okay, just kidding. This was for Colby's birthday. He's nineteen and is going places. He has a "millionaire mind" and he's on FIRE! We didn't think about the money burning appearance until the cake was all done. Love ya Colby!

Engagement Party

Okay, they told me not to do a dark color for the flowers but I couldn't help myself. I saw this design online and I couldn't not do it. It was too perfect for such an occasion. I thought it turned out awesome. I wish we had a 360 of this cake. Oh... all those designs were hand cut with a knife! Crazy!

Cinco De Mayo!!

It's party time everyone! If anyone knows how to party it's Jean. She threw a mean party! This was a good time and the cake was delicious. White cake with chocolate ganache between the layers. YUM!

Two Baby Boys

This was a baby shower cakes for two girls having two baby boys around the same time. The bottom was four layers of chocolate cake with cream cheese buttercream filling and the top was vanilla cake with strawberry cream cheese buttercream filling. GOOD! And I loved the argyle. I thought it was very sophistocated...

Gorgeous Tracy

This cake was more gorgeous in real life than it is in this pictures. I didn't know I had it in me to make "pretty" cake as opposed to just cute and fun cakes. It is flecked with gold luster dust and the pictures just doesn't do it justice.

Another car lover

Another car loving little boy turns two and wanted the same cake that I made for owen. I totally dig the flames on this one.

Happy Birthday Zander!

Okay, I really intended for this cake to be a little less Frankenstein but I guess it was really cute. The boy didn't care. He chowed it down like it was going to be his last meal. It was Strawberry shortcake on the inside and it was GOOD!

Cowboy birthday

This was a for a one year old boy. The theme was cowboy but his mom said the cake didn't have to be totally cowboy. I don't know if you can tell but those are "ropes" around the bottom of each tier. Then the stars are so dang cute! I think this cake is darling!

The train, the train!

Happy Birthday Ryan and Grant. Ryan is my next door neighbor boy who turned 4 and Grant is his cousin and they had a joint b-day party. They loves trains. This one was a little challenging for me because it was the first one I've done that is not "cake" shaped. It was really fun though. I had a great time making it.

Happy Birthday Owen!

The theme was race car for this 2 year old boy's birthday. Almost everything I do is very girly and so it was a whole new experience tapping into that masculine side to create something fun for a little boy.

The funnest wedding cake EVER! (Is funnest a word?)

I met a woman at Razzmataz when I was buying this cake stand for a different wedding cake and she told me her daughter was getting married and wanted a yellow wedding cake with white daisies. She was speaking to my soul! I just love that this bride was willing to step outside the traditional box and do something so fantastically fun!

10 Year Old Girl B-Day

This was a super fun cake to make! I got total creative freedom on this one. Nothing makes you feel better than when someone just trusts you to do something great for their loved one's special occasion. I just wish I could see every reaction.

The Original Baby Shower Cake

I finally recovered this picture after the computer burning up incident. This cake was done fairly early in the cake making game. I think my third one. But... this cake is probably my all-time favorite that I've done. It was a little time consuming but completely worth it! This cake ROCKS!
